Injectable Procedures (Botox, Restylane)

Protocol for our procedures is as follows:

First, the patient will come in for a brief consultation conducted by DermSpa Laser Clinic, educating and answering any questions the patient might have. Once the consultation is complete the office staff will set the injection date. When the patient arrives they will be asked to fill out forms for DermSpa Laser Clinic.

After a brief consultation, we will then see the patient and have them make certain facial expressions to determine the best use of either Botox or Restylane and answer any last minute questions. The optional nerve block will be administered and then the appropriate injection.

Post treatment: Cold packs can be applied to reduce swelling and bruising for the following 24 hours if necessary, 20 minutes on and 40 minutes off. Botox patients should remain upright and not lay down for the first six hours post treatment. Restylane patients may be able to mold their Restylane for the first 9 hours post treatment and should not have laser treatment on this area until 10 days post treatment.

Two weeks post treatment the patient will be asked to come in for a follow up visit to monitor progress.
